Well when I first walked in....an employee approached me and asked if I needed any help.. I then asked about the balloons and he answered the few questions I had.... he left me to do my shopping and I continued to go pick out some balloons for a bouquet I had planned on buying and having them inflate them for me.... after I had what I needed I proceeded to the check out line and waited...The employee from earlier was conversing with a fellow employee as I came and stood in line...(I was the only person in line)... I continued to stand there and wait...... mind u I had asked an eta for inflating the size of balloon bouquet I wanted... I was in a bit of a hurry and ended up putting everything on the counter and leaving after both employees looked rite at me 2 or 3 times each and went back to chit chatting each other up and not helping me with checkout or anything.....kinda bs ....customer service these days is a literal JOKE.......

Kiera is so informative, so attentive, so kind. She managed to assist 5 people at the same time by communicating and directing them self service. Thank you for helping me with my dad’s birthday balloons on such a short notice!

I am beyond disappointed with the birthday party I booked at Michael’s in Lakewood, WA. The booking clearly states that a "Party Captain" will lead the event, handle prep and clean-up, and guide craft activities. Unfortunately, our host, Buffy, failed to meet any of these expectations. From the start, the experience was disorganized. The crafts weren't ready at our scheduled time, and despite asking Buffy several times for her recommendation on where to set up food and gifts, she gave no direction. When I finally chose a spot, she told me it wouldn't work because she "hadn't cleaned that side yet." It was confusing and set a poor tone for the rest of the event. The party felt more like a rigid class than a celebration. Buffy was so focused on lecturing the 6–8-year-olds on "proper" technique that she neglected her role as a host. Supplies weren't kept stocked, and when parents stepped in to help keep the kids occupied, she became hostile. The most upsetting part was her attempt to discipline the children. She raised her voice at my nephew just for getting up to greet his mother. Because she spent so much time on unnecessary instructions and strict rules, we ran out of time entirely

One of my favorite craft go to stores. I used to go all the way over there when I couldn't find what I needed at home. Now I just keep on running list and head over monthly or so. Never been disappointed they always have what I need

Store had a good deal of items. Which is why the 2 stars. The loss of the remaining 3 stars is due to the following experience. One of the staff members was very curt and unhelpful. After I purchased a large number of items she bellows that the shopping cart cannot leave the store. No help offered, I had to walk back and forth to my car serval times. Will shop online or elsewhere going forward. Will not be patronizing this store location again.
